John Moser,
Lynda Barrow Moser,
and
Melissa Engle Peat
have combined legal experience of 60 years, including many
years as
former prosecutors,
and are well equipped to help you with your legal needs.
You want a strong, capable
advocate for your interests in Family Law or criminal
justice proceedings, but not a lawyer who is indifferent to
your anxieties and concerns.
For any of your legal needs, we believe you should feel
comfortable with your attorney and you should expect
honesty, integrity, good communication, and responsiveness
from your attorney, which is what we strive for at Moser &
Moser. We hold ourselves to a higher standard.
Our law practice is dedicated to providing compassionate,
but strong legal counsel, while aggressively pursuing your
goals, whether you're getting a divorce, fighting for the
custody and care of your children, or defending the
accusation of committing a crime or DUI.
Because of the depth and varied nature of our legal
experience, we are adept at gauging the tone necessary to
most effectively deal with the opposing party in your legal
matter. Oftentimes, legal matters can be worked out in a
amicable manner to achieve the most favorable results before
a case goes to trial. Our position is that, when facts and
circumstances permit, it is best for a client to try to
maintain control of his or her own legal matter and future
by searching for a "win-win" resolution rather than taking a
rigid approach by immediately filing pleadings or trying a
case that forfeits all control over to a judge and/or jury.
This also tends to be the least expensive approach to
handling legal matters, which is always our aim in handling
any matter. However, there are occasions and matters that
are so adversarial and conflicted that a tough and
aggressive stand is the only way to deal with the other
side. In these instances, your fight is our fight.
In criminal cases, it's important to take a proactive
approach; we understand that it is best to be actively
involved before formal charges are filed. Likewise, in
family law cases, it's important to take an active role in
shaping the issues in an affirmative manner. We have broad experience in
pre-litigation negotiations and trials. We actually have
the courtroom experience necessary for confidence and
competence in pre-trial negotiations and in the courtroom
should it be necessary to try your case in court. We are
ready and able to take whatever tact is best for you
considering the law, the factual circumstances of your
situation, your personal desires, and your financial means &
constraints.
We have very friendly and capable staff in the office to
assist you and the attorneys. We have flexible office hours
to meet when it's convenient for you, including evenings and
weekends when necessary. We also understand that these economic times are
tough, so it's our mission to help people as effectively,
but as cost efficiently as possible. We have reasonable
rates, we accept credit cards, and we may even be able to
make payments plans available for you.
We're ready to help you.
